Communication of directions on special tests in Targa and Historic Road Rallies is a key skill for a crew. This workbook provides an excellent opportunity to practice away from an event.
Designed to be practiced as a team, the workbook includes introduction, instructions and 5 pairs of test diagrams to practice. One diagram in each pair is blank (for the driver) and one marked up (for the navigator). The task and practice is to talk the driver through the test (as you would on event), with the driver marking up the route. Check afterwards to ensure you went the right way.

This communication workbook was invaluable to myself as nav and my driver. We worked though it before we competed in the knutsford targa and it really helped. We have competed in only one other targa and communication was a major issue for us so didn’t do so well but this workbook allowed us to work on that without being on an event. We both took turns calling the navigator sheets and it helped my driver to understand a bit more the bits I was struggling to communicate and allowed us to come up with ways to communicate them to each other.
